Spiteful for sure. He co-wrote the novel "Cataclysm in blue water", it's actually on his mantelpiece in the background of one of his old Hawkstone interviews. Disgruntled he was cut loose from AZL. I contacted Doug a while back and he sounded like a paranoid old man. It probably didn't take Paul long to figure out he wasn't competent enough to be the CTO.
