Ok GSM...I've been a bit slack on the updates...
In situ leaching (ISL), also known as solution mining, or in situ recovery (ISR) in North America, involves leaving the ore where it is in the ground and recovering the minerals from it by dissolving them and pumping the pregnant solution to the surface where the minerals can be recovered.
AZL and Cemvita also plan to work towards deploying this technology for in-situ mining, a process where the ore is not removed from the ground but is extracted in place. This process aims to eliminate much of the ground disturbance and waste generation associated with typical mining operations.
Sounds great for the BLM decision..this will fly when ann comes for the OK...
