No, Big Sandy is much lower grade than Greenbushes and AVZ's Manono deposit. It's ten times lower grade. But you're missing the point and you can't compare them. AZL is sedimentary and the other two are hard rock spodumene. What matters and the only thing that matters is the total size of the deposit and the cost of producing lithium carbonate from it. My calculations on Big Sandy is 4 million tonnes of Lithium Carbonate equivalent. This is an inground value at $30,000/t LCE of $120 billion. That's US dollars. A very big number. Cost of production for sedimentary deposits is around 4,000 per tonne which is lower than Greenbushes and much lower than Manono will ever be. I haven't done an NPV as we don't know the annual production rate, LOM, etc - but it will be large and is why I'm here.
