    You cannot compare 2.5 Mt production of concentrate equivalent to 60k tpa LCE to a 6k tpa module. I can count on two hands how many times Lloyd or Blumberg have ball parked the capital cost at 20-30 million, granted that was for the initial plan of a 1ktpa module. It would be interesting to know why that has been upgraded to 6k but I don't think you will hear shareholders complaining about more production sooner.

    Feel free to correct calculations.

    LTR Operating cost is $473 per tonne of 6% concentrate Li2O
    $473/ 0.06 = $7,883 per tonne pure Li20

    $7,883 / 2.47 (convert cost to LCE) = $3,046 per tonne LCE

    "The additional cost of converting the spodumene concentrate to lithium hydroxide is expected to be US$2,456/t LCE in 2019."

    $3046 + $2456 = $5502 tonne LCE from spodumene using 2019 conversion cost and not calculating for any recovery loss.

    Standard recovery of 83% = $6628 per tonne LCE

    For nasty 2-3x carbon emitting earth scarring hard rock lithium mining.

    Even with coto's 30% margin for error that should still make Prairie's cost significantly lower. But there's no denying the sex appeal of hard rock lithium mining.
