Don’t stretch the truth until it breaks, when you claim that the place is “a mining jurisdiction where quite literally almost everyone works in drilling.” Or do you mean, the people who work in mining (extraction, really) are drilling and not digging? And not really drilling, but pumping stuff out from holes that someone else drilled, perhaps long ago? Because Saskatchewan is an agricultural province – the world's largest exporter of peas, lentils, durum wheat, mustard seed, canola, flaxseed and oats. The province is also the second largest cattle-producing province in Canada.

Moreover, Saskatchewan adults spend an average of $185 every year on cannabis products. Not as much as Alberta ($210), but presumably the operators of the drill rigs are sober.

The Chinese (bad experiences there, with opium, so recreational drugs are discouraged) have already figured out how to use DLE to extract lithium from sea water at competitive costs. Give them another ten years, and the method may be perfected and scaled to industrial volumes. So make the money with DLE now, but don’t do it with a company that will continue to dilute its shares with “performance” rewards to managers who are already paid too much for just doing their jobs.
