BLM has to complete an Environmental Impact Statement, which has to address the Native American cultural issues that were ignored in the Environmental Assessment a couple years ago. That will have to go out for public comments before a notice of decision, which in turn will be challenged in the federal courts that have the final word. Best strategy for AZL now is to hope for better results (disastrous for democracy) from the 2024 election.
Meanwhile, at least AZL has stopped claiming highest lithium concentration from Duperow, since ROK Resources results are twice as high. And ROK has a market cap of only $69 million.
