While the funding is nowhere near as large as the CMIF, it would underscore Canadians' seriousness about implementing Prairie into their US supply chain.
Of course, it would also be a good thing for the IRA's EV tax incentives. With production starting in 2025, AZL should be high on this list (imo) and what a lack of traceability can mean for car manufacturers can be seen especially with BMW and its cobalt supplier!
