Paul has mentioned the demand for lithium in any form during the webinars. I wouldn't be surprised if we already have an offtaker lined up for the product to be taken to its final form.
Galan's (high grade Argentina brine) Opex is US$3,510/t LCE which also excludes conversion cost from lithium chloride to battery grade LCE. However with a lower capital cost.
They are using $29,000 USD/t LCE as the base case for their NPV. If we used the same our NPV would be 818 million, off a small phase 1 6000k tpa.
Project economics for Prairie are very good, not as good as Anson's. But I have to wonder how their project with similar grade but lower flow rates, unpaved roads, no power lines and in the U.S can produce for less.
