BLM tells us that AZL abandoned its plan to use the well that was never a well, in favor of water from the municipal supply that doesn't exist. Maybe by the time the lawsuits are settled, Wikieup will be big enough to have a town government. But what I find interesting is that BLM says that groundwater was never encountered in Phase 1 and Phase 2. The well that AZL had proposed to use, a short distance from the Hakamwe springs, was a drill hole that instead of being filled like all the others, was capped for later use as a source for drilling water. Now, they are saying that it never produced any water. Odd, very odd
