NTEC is doing an admirable public-relations job of keeping its name before real miners as its coal projects shut down. They have a seat at the table when gold, copper and rare earth companies want to meet their diversity quotas. Their middle name is transitional for a reason: This is how they advertise their business plan of dropping coal and taking on projects that aren't years away from unlikely fruition.
