@PL.......z Nasdaq didn't delist the company that employs AZL's director, it voluntarily left the exchange because the share price was falling and trading was at low volumes. It wasn't worth the cost of compliance with regulations meant to protect investors. But there are still occasional rumblings about how AZL has one foot in the Nasdaq door and another on a banana peel -- in this case, meeting the minimum US $4 listing price, presumably with a reverse 1/500 split.
@Alfred90 Trying to figure out where you are from. Can't be North America, because we don't eat "crisps" here. Can't be Britain, though, because that's the birthplace of penny stocks. They love them. The mentality is, "I'd rather have 10,000 intangibles worth practically nothing than 100 intangibles worth something." If I were investing just for dividends, I would consider your Australian choice of Yancoal, despite its CCP connections. But if I can't make 20% writing covered calls, I'll move on.
