Somoene needs to figure out the economic benefits of not relying on China for products and producing in their own back yard.
I suppose people working and make more cash is a problem for someone. People working helps the bottom line for government, more taxes coming in (to help meet social service costs of government).
If AZL wasn't looking to explore and mine, someone else will.
I suppose America can source their lithium from China where tariffs can be applied.
Some economic sense is required when there are so many gigafactories being built (in America) and need a resource to make it environmentally and economically beneficial in their own country.
We may expect news about where we go with Big Sandy this week and there will be "I told you so!" moments or there will be triggers pulled for some.
