I wish I was a fly on the wall of LRC's conference room and knew more, but I just got the info from the LRC's promotional video last year. I googled Alirio Liscano and saw that he had been working at Albemarle since 2015. He appears in the background of most webinars with Brett in the lab.
I'm just speculating that maybe Alirio adds more value while being paid less and that it might have been redundant having them both there. Paul's all grins to shareholders but maybe cut throat behind the scenes.
