What surprises me is that no one has asked, "What are the Hualapai doing for water at Cholla Canyon?" Certainly they aren't using spring water. It's OK to bathe in, but not to drink. The answer, of course, is that they have their own well. Then the question that you might ask is, "Why did they drill one so close to the sacred spring?" And the answer, of course, is that it was done before they acquired title to the property.
