Sometimes shareholders need to be reminded that AZL owns absolutely no land in Arizona.

The Hualapai Reservation and the American people are neighbors at Big Sandy. The people elect a Congress and President, who enact laws to regulate how their land is used. The President appoints people to run the Bureau of Land Management, for the benefit of the American people.
Foreign companies can pay an annual fee for mining claims on federal land. You almost have to feel sorry for AZL, they have been doing this for five years with not much to show for it except 100 tons of dirt hauled a couple hundred kilometers away.

AZL can leave next year, and the land will still be owned by the American people. They will continue to be neighbors with the Hualapai, who are a nation within the nation. Imagine your landlord allowing you to paint his house chartreuse, when your lease is up next month.

Say it three times and maybe it will help you remember. AZL owns no land in Arizona.
