Also, is there gonna be a fight on with USA Govt. v Sovereign Tribal Govt.??? Hope not, that'll be a drawn out drama.....

Wonder if the tribe will put the Springs on the National Register?
They should do that anyway regardless imo, that's a good thing for the tribe. Maybe not for mining.

Sounds like there should be no drama with the Spring if Montgomery engineering are only "monitoring". But if they drill into a nearby groundwater system that degrades the Hot Springs, then there is a problem. But engineering report say they will make a robust attempt at fixing any leak, although they don't say what they would use to remedy and it sounds a bit dodgy there. Like they are happy to drill, but have no contingency if things go wrong and then when the Spring get interrupted, then AZL will just say "the springs are no longer medicinal, as there's surrounding general groundwater flowing into it, so we use the Spring now permanently.
So, the Tribe need to sort that out with the engineers Montgomery, it is very serious for the Tribe. Can't go contaminating their medicinal Springs. That would be disgraceful to their integrity of spirituality. It would be inhuman.

Interesting enough read anyway, glad you posted it.
At the end of it all - why have traditional laws and legal stuff if you have no control? So there must be a point to the tribal laws, else what a waste of everybody's time. The world can't just live under perception - there must be validation somewhere.
For me, I hope the Hot Springs are left alone and the Tribe get their way.
I don't mind losing a few grand to support traditional owners.
I'm all for the indigenous rights, over any immigrant desires.
Moneys good; but greed is not.
Thankyou.
