BLM wont tell you why decision to approve drilling has been delayed & contrary to what emails floating around or what someone supposedly said to them on phone 2 weeks ago (eg hitman/lifefree) these arent facts.
i highly doubt anyone from BLM would tell anyone anything apart from there a decision still pending.
normally BLM takes 4 months on average after final submissions...but in meanwhile this year BLM had restructuring,90 day cooling off period due to biden coming in,our submission they had i think 3? extensions for public comment as natives said not enough time & you would assume there was a backlog of claims considering all these factors..
this from BLM from march (doesnt include our application as only refers to oil/gas) but you can see backlog for just oil/gas permits.
