I am not hitman, nor am I stupid enough to call a field office for information that they don't have and would not give out if they did. As I posted earlier -- probably another one that the fact-suppressers removed -- if anything, a phone call puts the file at the bottom of the pile and delays it until other work is done.

But to answer a question posted on the other thread, why would the bureaucracy delay? Because the Administration changed in January 2021, and its new officials have a diametrically opposed approach to many issues, compared to the Redcaps of the past four years.
