What Hitman did was bordering on illegal. He literally lied and pumped this stock using fake information and created a cult following. Then sold out at the peak and burnt everybody along the way. I have seen people on A Current Affair do less and get investigated by the police.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if someone was looking into what happened. To support this and find it funny is unacceptable. I feel sorry for the ones who lost 40% of their capital just before Christmas.
Sure they made a terrible decision to put themselves in that position in the first place but you shouldn't be blaming them. They didn't create the situation, Hitman did.
When an old lady gets conned by a fake quote or phone call, you don't blame the only lady and say she's stupid, you get angry at the perpetrator.
The vulnerable people are the victim here and to think it's funny is not a good look.
