It started October last year when China made the pledge to be net zero carbon by 2060 and then when Biden became president he then pushed for the US to be net zero carbon by 2050, then EU also said by 2050, but then everyone raced to bring that deadline forward earlier starting with banning the sale of petrol cars by 2035 in China and 2030 in EU.
That started the movement, and the uptake by the consumers, the equities market and now the automakers are in full fkng swing!!
I first told everyone about this at my work as soon as China made that public announcement last year, I said this will be an election pledge in the US and it will move everyone into it.
