I looked into this and the only other clay deposit I came across that has produced battery grade was bacarona.
Bacarona have the lowest cost in lithium - have been producing battery grade from their pilot plant for 4 years. They are using ion exchange tech to produce 99.9% - something AZL has also eluded in recent Ann’s.
I haven’t come across anything relating to BG for Lithium America’s or American Lithium - but could be mistaken.
I looked into this and the only other clay deposit I came across...
