Options are (usually) tradable like shares. In the case of AZLO they have an expiry of 10 Nov 2022. This means that you have the option to pay 12c and convert your AZLO to AZL shares. If you have not traded or sold your AZLO or converted them by paying the 12c by 10th Nov then on the 11th Nov they become worthless. You will not be able to trade or convert them - hence they have expired.
