They have started using this mix (70% graphite /30% silicon) for their test anodes and have openly talked about it in the past. I think it is clear by my follow up point that I have clarified this is test/lab work as opposed to what is currently going into ev vehicles so I am sure people won't be confused.

I expect this percentage to become the eventual split in ev vehicles. I openly stated that was my opinion, doesn't mean I am going to be right but all the evidence seems to point this will be the case. This is not inferring that graphite stocks are a bad investment or that graphite doesn't play a crucial part in current battery technology, it evidently does. I've already stated that success is never guaranteed in the adoption of new technology, refer to my original post.

When I refer to graphite as a 'stabiliser' for the anode, I am referring that graphite based anodes allows for lithium ions to flow through when charging and discharging and therefore acting as a pathway/stabiliser for the lithium ions to pass through between the cathode and anode.
