"How we survive" is a great podcast series by Molly Wood. She pays a visit to Thacker Pass (episode 1 and 2) and Salton Sea (episode 4) and speaks with the CEO's and locals.
In episode 1 Molly speaks with a Fort Mcdermit tribe member that is pro mining:
"A lot of the protestors aren't even our tribal members, aren't even people from the Fort McDermit reservation, and they don't represent us. They don't represent us people as a tribe" - Alana Crutcher
Reminds me of every "Protect Hakamwe" protest. More than half the protestors don't even live in Arizona.Lithium America's CEO says they have received 40 job applications from the Fort Mcdermitt tribe of 300.
In episode 4 Joe Lowry casts doubt at the Salton Sea:
"Geothermal energy is harder than it looks, let alone the lithium extraction"
"I promise you on my first born they will not produce 50,000 tonnes in 2024, let alone 100,000"
Joe Lowry was vice president of sales at Simbol, the fifth failed start up at Salton Sea.
Clay is the way. Bill Gates and the Lizarduminati must not dominate lithium supply.
