Yes precisely, the DLE part of the overall lithium extraction from brine resource is the game changer hence it's what's most talked about - as opposed to the chemical process to convert concentrated lithium brine to LCE end products. ExxonMobil wouldn't have entered this industry if they don't see profitability- so it's basically an endorsement and confidence.

There are a lot of DLE "tech" out there and it's not cookie cutter - each lithium brine resource has one DLE process better than the rest. Some has ingredients that expire, so can't store in warehouses for long, which is a problem if at commercial scale because you can't hold on to ingredients/products and stock up - the supply chain is key, and it's brand new supply chain.

What is encouraging with AZL is that Rabe is quite known in this space and he's CTO. So the only real setback for Prairie Lithium project is providing evidence, not in paper but physical end-to-end all the way to LCE product at volume and high purity (before scale). That's it. Prairie Lithium is the most cost effective DLE project out there, no doubt about it especially since it's Saskatchewan (!) - no tax, even the local Govt as well as eventually Federal will bankroll the project if not already then 100% sure they will, they always do in this jurisdiction - hence the namesake of one of if not the best mining jurisdictions in the world. Once it's all proven, even IGO and all Western Australia Greenbushes resources will be jealous at the economics... but they are already in production at scale and AZL is only on paper. Hence the run for production, at least just one site but commercial scale, by 1H 2025. Once proven at one site including profitability, 20 more or so can open up within a year or two with sufficient investment - economies of scale kicks in even furthering the economics.

So hold on to your shares. Expect delays but this resource has nothing stopping it but funding to production. Given full funding ( $500M minimum like all the others ) Prairie Lithium can reach production at record time, a lot faster than any other because it's Saskatchewan- permits, EIA, everything can be done in record time and there's a process in place like a tick box really companies just need to follow.. unlike every other jurisdictions with political risks, environmental risks/delays, etc etc.

I know ExxonMobil (and thankfully Paul is now referring to them too) has eyes on AZL's Prairie project as peer, either as competition or one to acquire.

As always though, each to their own risk/reward analysis. Mining projects are always long, riddled with delays and takes time... all I'm saying here is that Prairie has the least risks I've seen of all DLE lithium projects, which means faster to production finish line... which translates to profitability, least cost, secure/steady/reliable supply chains including once in production end-products to end-customers.

    Cheers
