Being a local, I would know that New Mexico has two area codes, and 575 is the one for the BLM office closer to Lordsburg. (Las Cruces, or in the fractured Spanish of the AZL annual report, La Cruces.)
I’m sure that if the promised application for a drill permit had been submitted to BLM, you would have shared that information with the rest of the AZL cult here. So thanks for answering my question.
