Soothsayer, thanks for your honesty. It takes courage to admit the motivations and emotions that lie behind these investment decisions. One lesson I have learnt is to try to not let life's emotions depend on the market which is so unpredictable. Be grateful when it goes well, and realistic when it goes badly. I keep asking myself, 'what would be the impact if I lost my full investment', obviously as a result of some horrific international event, such as 9/11 or the GFC.
With regard to AZS, its all looking good, and I am holding out for a higher price than it is currently at. 'When to Sell' is just as important a decision as 'when to Buy'.
Good luck, Soothsayer, and enjoy the house. All experiences should be lessons.
