Yes he's stripped back too much from the chart and left in labels that obscure the actual trading so we can't see the start of the trend lines,
He seems to have created a new trend line from the base of the last major pullback, but he's shortened it and put it into a box from what I can see.
This is one reason I don't trade you can make up plenty of trends he's got so many running.
I try to understand trading but it's often a load of rubbish and one way to lose money.
