In reply to @thesunny123, SQM are likely to make an offer because they are in the box seat with 19.9% both to block another party or launch a takeover themselves. That is a takeover of SQM’s 60% stake - how they handle Creasy’s 40% is another matter.

But some of the valuations I am seeing on HotCopper are crazy $5, $10 etc. SQM are not likely to offer 30% more than the prevailing share price at the time so less than $3.45 based on yesterday’s closing price. Still a good profit if you bought in sub-50c.
