Assuming the rumours about them holding 2-3% prior to this news being true, if PLS acquire between 7.8m to 11.7m more shares that puts them in substantial holder territory. From memory about 25% of the company is held by retail (please correct me if I'm wrong), so it seems they can still amass a sizeable blocking position. If that's the case, SQM have sat on their hands for too long to get the 50.1% that they craved at a minimum, unless MC decides to vote in their favour if a knockout offer comes our way. Delphi only care about the money, and GR and CE won't sell.
