Desmond, Couldnt have put it any better than that, Mr Tilbrook would most certainly have some plans to put his own people in, hes got contacts you could be sure of that, and the contacts have a high level of cred in the mining sector You couldnt trust the board to appoint the right person, given they have backed DH all the way, and why should DH have any say in appointing his successor, hes stacked the board full of his own people. Got to dsay DH has done a reasonale job in getting Cockburn where it is, but he has failed big time at the most important time, he should have told POSCO to bugger of after the fist delay in April 2012, yes 12 months later and we are RS. Change is needed, and quckly, if it means Cockburn is sold for some reasonable value then so be it, and reasonable it should be.
