Yes, a good point about likely first right of refusal clause in any post JV sale. Which would surely make it even less strategically attractive to go ahead and spend those earn-in funds, as any resulting discovery could not be directly used as a sweetener in the Telfer sale. All negotiable though, I am sure. And accountants do read contracts and listen to lawyers!

Speaking as a geo, the ideal situation would be if the accountants had so little interest in the blue sky of Antipa's major share of Parklands that they were prepared to also give Antipa access to the immediately adjacent tenement areas - perhaps swapping them for, to them, some more strategic Antipa tenements closer to the Telfer mine. (Ask the mining engineers! They will have even less care for exploration dreams than the accountants..)

All hypothetical of course.

But if any Newmont ground could be acquired in a tenement swap, the red-ringed areas below would be fantastic for Antipa to add at Parklands:




And on a broader scale, it would also be great to completely secure the structurally-defined 'mirror-image' target areas, ringed in red below, which were pointed out here by Antipater_100 in a post on 20/12/23:




Although I think in fact most of the eastern part does already lie within Antipa's ground:





And in terms of what might be swapped? Well, the engineers are always keen to get sole use of on anything that compromises infrastructure or water resources, eg. in relation to the Telfer mine, or the Havieron development. Exploration is just an annoyance to them.
