Cheers for pointing out AZY'S RIU Conference statement about "future ore supply to Rio Tinto", I missed that one.
With the current price of gold, if it finds a floor at current levels, RIO will no doubt push ahead with Winu & Paterson Projects. It could very well become a cost-negative mining operation, where all the gold mined covers the cost of the copper mined, plus additional profit from the gold...or vice versa, just like Cadia was -$7 AISC.
