Yes, it beggars belief the completely limp-wristed response to the gold price by gold miners - albeit even with rising costs of production. However, history is likely to tell us that this state of affairs "can't go on like this forever". But typically, human behaviour is such that we invariably think "this time is different" and rationalize/justify our fears. Somehow seeing those US blue chip goldies on their absolute arses just doesn't stack up at all and something, some time must snap it back into some sort of rational behaviour.

Anyhow, we'll see in due course I suppose!
