There is something fundamentally wrong with the system when companies such as AZZ are flouting the ASX rules. Listed companies have found that it is more economical to absorb "hefty" fines rather than comply with ASX rules. The system is broken. AZZ are disposing assets without shareholder approval and refusing to disclose the identity of the "purchaser"of the deal they announced. I believe this is becoming the new norm. I have sold out of the ASX completely because of this situation that is unfolding. It is completely unsustainable. Unless ASX announces new reforms expect more of this.
