Sometimes people track these indices quite closely, but the ASX500 is not really that big a deal.

Also, these weightings would have been worked out weeks ago when AZZ was lower. Also loads of other companies values have changed a lot, esp uranium and iron ore companies, so I think it was more a case of AZZ being overtaken than going down.

Don't sweat it.
