(BTW, the question about the reason people require a prescription was not correct. People don't get a prescription to get the correct opinion on what to take- for this the doctor could just write the required medication on the back of an envelope, or any piece of paper. The reason a prescription, imho, is required is to ensure that only those that require the sought medication are able to purchase it from a pharmacy ie. it stops abuse.)
