You should only get charged the one brokerage, unless you cancel the unfilled and then place again! If you're order is unfilled you can keep changing buy price as long as you don't cancel the buy order.
You will probably notice even though they charged you for the 2 shares yesterday, today's fill shouldn't be charged...
