I have converted to very basic TA in last 5 years or so.
This consists of Price / volume and MA's to reinforce resistance and support levels.
There are those that argue that as the level of intrepetation increases within TA outcomes become less and less precise.
We all know that you can slice and dice statistics to achieve any outcome. If you have emotional investment in that outcome you do it subconciously.
We are all guilty of this in the myriad of decisions we make on a daily basis, to a degree we hear and see what 'fits' into our own little world.
To invite intrepretation into an environment (the market) held hostage by greed and fear , emotions that rank among our most basic and strong some say is folly to the extreme.
The outcome could be a individual making the same mistakes over and over as emotional content within intrepretation remains consistent and strong.
