    I get your point. But you tell your children this. And your father told you this. And his father told him this.

    At the end of the day every generation rides the successes of the previous generation. It is why humanity has risen relative to the rest of the animal kingdom. We can make gains and we know how to record and reproduce them, which gives us an advantage.

    . Thats not where the structural problem is.
    The problem is
    'This entire system of governance and commerce relies on growth to be maintained (both population and fiscal / financial value) and this looks like it is collapsing'.

    I don't blame the boomers, good on them. But as long as they realize that most people don't see things as structural. They see it as personal.

    And they are starting to become the majority.

    And that's how democracy works.

    Interesting times that's for sure.
