Great article, thanks for that. My mum and dad are in the same boat as well. Their holiday house is to be auctioned this sat, failed to sell the family home in Sydney last year, price expectation too high. Now having that house painted. Waste of money imo. Paint wont make the market any less cactus. They have moved to another property bought last year up the central coast.
This article reinforces why I expect in general the property market globally to be a place to invest for your family life rather than for monetary gain, right out to 2030.
