So far we have concentrated on the materialistic values associated with each generation

but what value do we place on a mother staying home and looking after a family

cooking wholesome and healthy meals

supervising homework and valuable lessons on respect and family values for the brood

sitting around a family dinner table to discuss everybody's day without having to compete with the TV

and when the TV did get turned on - it was a family affair.

Family was the most important and valuable thing anyone had in those days

Today we have many expensive houses fitted with all the extras

but the number of "family" homes is diminishing
