"This makes it clear that the one that began was the Word." I don't much is clear at all, otherwise Christianity would not be in such a disunited mess.

Waffle, Christendom is chaotic, not Christianity. After returning to heaven Jesus provided clear direction by means of the apostles he appointed.
(Acts 2:42) And they continued devoting themselves to the teaching of the apostles, to associating together, to the taking of meals, and to prayers.
It is the same today. Each week , everywhere on earth, the spiritual feeding program among Jehovah's people is the same. All in attendance at meetings demonstrate a willingness to maintain unity.
(James 3:17) But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, reasonable, ready to obey, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, not hypocritical.
