Babylon in this context refers to the world empire of false religion.
Rev 12:9 - And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

(Wine - Hollywood, Logies, Red Carpet, LIES, US $ with the eye of the Pyramid = sun gods 666, the world trade with it, US Stoke Market, goddess standing in her Gateway Statue of Liberty, The Appointed Shepherd of God's sheep and failed, at all the pasture and polluted the rest, took on the Title of the Land of Milk and Honey).
Rev 18: And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! (Stock market crash's).

And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. = (God's people tried first even though they are off track, he still considers them his people, they needed the truth beaten into them, had to die to find this).
Rev 7:14 - And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
You see Mr G, they had to go through the Tribulation and "then", possibly, likely died and then AFTER, washed their Robes = Put on The Truth as they did NOT have it prior to going into the Tribulation.
China the Dragon country pretty much fits all the requirements of this 1st Beast, and naturally God will use the least Godly country to do the dirty work and then God destroys them only letting 1/6th of them escape.
The 2nd beast then comes along "however" you are still made to worship this 1st beast system = linked, part of China's Dragon satellite system their working on, so they can be the world leader in this communication, tracking system.
China's XI leader (666) was primed, prepared from Childhood for Leadership = no accident and now has leadership with no end date attached to it.
Country of Steel, whole world relies on them, who can make war with them etc, they fit pretty much everything of the 1st beast and probably N/K and Co with them.
