So..Reading through the threads it appears that the council is against the BM project. What a surprise!! A boon for local business, jobs and positive flow on effects through the region is irrelevant to the council??
We have a referendum in Sep. to give councils more power and direct funding from the federal government.. If it passes does it mean councils can be "bought" out at a price?? Absolutely stinks!
BM will go ahead whether a few Greenies like it or not imo..
