'Bitterly' disappointing to honest.

It's now (and was) a pure technology company. Marketing, product marketing, solution marketing, digital marketing, branding, PR, and overall communications (awareness) have always been lacking and incredibly poor for a listed tech company. It's a bit like Apple having awesome/market leading product but no one selling the story into market. No Chiat/Day or Ridley Scott. I know Ava is B2B but similar principles apply.

I was told they don't have a single person running these critical functions in-house. Hence my comment that I hope Mal comes with an experienced person (more like a small team) covering this area. If so, an instant SP boost, if you get it right. Instant product/solution recognition, if you get it right. Could even get out in front of all the competition they have.

It's not like there is nothing to communicate about! There has been a ML element developed that enhances the product (what is behind this, what does it do?), there's been an integration of Aura IQ with a fire detection technology (why, who with, advantages, market leading, any interest, the 'only' future option?), there is finally a business unit separating out from 'security' (crowded..........) so where are all the opportunities, collaborations, new solutions, market size and opportunities? (smart cities, telco’s, 4.0 and all....), there was an acquisition, why not talk to that more, show their setup, key staff, product (has anyone even been to their setup? nothing/nada...massive, missed opportunity), there was apparently the first joint sale of a combined solution with GJD (how was this put together, what was it, to whom, is it a marketable solution, case study....?) surely this is massive as it confirms some of the rationale behind the acquisition and aligns the naysayers. I could think of more but exhausting.

You don’t need an ASX announcement for messaging as there are multiple platforms available (paid/free) to grow awareness. Exit the amateurs, bring in the professionals again. +30c here we come!
