Quite often after a take over announcement when a company is " in play " the stock trades at a premium to the offer.
The current s/p is close to a 30% discount to the offer ?
That tells me that the market is placing zero chance of a superior offer and a reasonable chance that the current offer wont proceed ?
On a risk reward basis it would appear that the risk is greater than the reward.
