No one on this thread are psychics mate... I read the property threads daily and chuckle. The bears come on and speak of doom and gloom and the bulls say that property is just fine. The arguments on these threads will do back and forth until one of the other is proved wrong. Personally, do what your head and heart tells you. I, like you can afford an average house (average median house) in Perth... BUT, I tend to side with the bears in the fact that I believe that prices will drop by the end of the year. I am going to hold out because that is what my head tells me. If the housing prices rise another 5-10% then it is my mistake but, if it drops more than this, then it is a win for me. Choice is yours mate.
I wonder what all these posters would post if they knew the Property thread would be closed till a major rise or drop in housing prices had taken effect and they had to be a 'psychic' and predict housing prices for January 2011... Maybe food for thought.
