I recall a month or so ago NEWCREST MINING was heavily sold down a few days before an announcement of write down. It turns out only selective investment analysts were briefed before the announcement on the write down. I got burn a bit on that one.
I hope this is not another one of those "privileged info" selling.
It frustrates me ASIC is allow these kind unfair treatments to retailer.
