Thanks for the input Neil_WA, but I hardly see how the total resource is irrelevant; they can never extract 100% anyway, but whatever %age they do get, sure the more there is to start with, the more they get? Or am I missing something? From what you say it is doomed to failure, and they were idiots to even try, and I presume the same applies to anyone who even thinks about drilling a hole in the ground.

I'm not quite sure why you are dragging shale oil into the picture. That's oil, this is (mainly) gas, and shale oil has a very bad reputation anyway.

But I agree, do your own analysis, and particularly do not trust broker reports.
